Step 1. Create Mining Group
Visit http://novablock.com and register an account. An activation email will be sent to you. Please allow up to 5 minutes to receive the email. If it is not received within 5 minutes, check your spam/junk folder.
Once your account is activated, a mining group with the same name as your account’s username is created automatically. You can create more mining groups (Account - Mining group - Create group) for your convenience to manage multiple workers.
Step 2. Worker Setup
Set up the worker with network and electricity connection. Find out the worker IP and log into the miner configuration page to set mining URLs, user ID and password. Then save and apply your settings.
- Please log in to your router’s administration page to find your worker’s IP address. You can also find the address by using an IP Scanner.
- Type your worker’s IP address into the address bar of a web browser and log in. Take Antminer S9 as an example, the log in account and password are both ‘root’. If the account or password is incorrect, please contact your worker’s customer service to request the correct log in details.
- Log in to the miner configuration page and enter mining URL, user ID and password.
Please set 3 different mining URLs as below. If one URL is disabled, the other two will be set online automatically.
URL 1: stratum+tcp://btc.s.novablock.com:443
URL 2: stratum+tcp://btc.s.novablock.com:1883
URL 3: stratum+tcp://btc.s.novablock.com:25
The URLs can always be found from the workspace for your convenience.
UserName is the name of your mining group. And WorkerName is the description for the specific mining machine. We recommend connecting each mining device with a separate WorkerName and connecting each batch of workers under different mining groups for efficient monitoring.
- Save and apply your settings.
Step 3. Confirmation of Miner Status
You can visit NovaBlock workspace and check the status of your miners. Please note that the mining data will be reflected into mining pool a few minutes after Step 2.
Step 4. Payout Address
Set your payout address from Account – Mining Group – Setting. Your rewards will be saved as your balance if you do not set your payout address.
