The mechanism for a mining pool is that the pool continues to send out calculation jobs to miners and miners submit results to the pool. We call the results as 'shares' But sometimes when network fluctuations or other factors happen, the 'shares' won’t be admitted by the pool as it has gone invalid. The reject rate is invalid 'shares' against the total.
Reject rate = rejected shares / (accepted shares + rejected shares)
Users can find the real-time rejection rate from pool stats on our website. The hashrate rejection may be caused by any stage between the mining machine, the mining farm network to the mining pool. And the mining pool is the least reason for a high rejection rate.
Please let contact us if you have any concerns. NovaBlock has a mining farm department to help you to locate the reason if the high rejection rate is caused by your mining farm and help to improve your mining farm efficiency.
